I sell it. There are also pickles
Yes, it is. Within 10 minutes walk.
It is open until the end of the year. There are many shops closed on New Year's Day and 2nd
There is ❗️
It seems so
Egg stuffed octopus. Imitation crab. Pickled vegetables. To name a few
Should be open
There are things that used soymilk and green tea, such as donuts and Japanese sweets.
Very close
Everything was amazing! Incredible beer selection. Everything we tried was phenomenal.
Of obligatory visit, to enjoy an excellent treatment and an extensive variety of quality dishes, accompanied, of course, by Tato, the "culprit" that your steps take you there almost unconsciously, from the first day you know the place.
If you are Spanish, do not step on that place ... The food swimming in oil, the octopus as if it were rubber. The worst thing is that we ordered an Iberian table and after waiting for 1 hour he tells us that "the boy who starts the ham has not come" and that he does not put it on. A few minutes ago he had served a ration to a foreigner ... It is a place to swindle foreigners and that is the best.
Highly recommended restaurant. Everything was so great, food, hosting, prices, place and location. Our trip before and after going to this Restaurant. Jorge, the owner, gave us great recommendations and share/answer very nice insights about Japan. We had a lot of fun and his advice was so valuable, including the trip to Hiroshima, which were going to skip before his recommendation. You can feel the great atmospheric from people in the place, not only locals but turists 🙏🙏🙏
Tato's is a great authentic Spanish gem. Tato is full of life, energy and is absolutely hilarious. Food is outstanding. Highly recommend this awesome restaurant!
Great! Good atmosphere and good food Congratulations!Fantastic! Good atmosphere and good food Congratulations!
Great Irish craic in this Catalonian bar
Anyway, the shopkeeper is interesting ❢I think it was good to go (^ ^)
Great place with great host
Spanish master is friendly and funny⬆︎When I came to the store, the master was too interesting and my abs collapsed. Contrary to that, the clerk was a customer service if it was calm and polite, and the gap was interesting! Only one woman, a company employee on a business trip, a group of university students and many others enjoyed the atmosphere and the horse mackerel.
Good tired Pyeongyeong! What does this mean? I do not know the details, but it is Word that sees the hearts of people who are neither Spanish nor Japanese. Why do not you buy a buzzword? I think that it is Kinki No. 1 BALL.
Amazing experience! Very welcoming place, a little slice of Spain in Kyoto. Owner played Juan Luis Guerra for us as soon as he found out I was Dominican. The tinto de verano was refreshing.
Finally in Pais del Te, a good beer and variety to choose from.Spanish owner, nice and very nice.
Loved the food, everything tasted great, but it can get a little pricy, so I wouldn't recommend coming here with a large group. The owner is the main attraction of this place; he's super fun, friendly, and energetic! (^ ^)
It's owned by a Spanish guy who is fun and speaks English, Japanese and spanish. Tapas are yummy but more on the expensive side. Don't expect to have a full meal. I would recommend this place if you are craving for a some Spanish tapas along with a nice lively atmosphere and a fun host. If you are craving for non Japanese food in Kyoto, you should try it out
Tato is an inedible host and produces some amazing bites. Insider tip: ask for standing room for cheaper pricing and more fun interaction with Tato!
The place is cosy and the staff are very friendly. The taste of tapas is very euthentic. I especially loved the pickled anchovies and greek salad. Price is reasonable for tasty, home-like cooking. The service is quite slow but we were there to enjoy our time and we really did!
So yummyI didn't really like Spanish food, but I realized it was delicious
The gambas, paella , jamon and cheese were delicious!! And the owner Tato is a great host too, it really is a great place to just hang out and chat over tapas and wine, don't miss this gem right in the heart of Kyoto 🇪🇸
Owner was awesome! Very accommodating! Great beer and drinks!! Would recommend everytime!
Simply the absolute best bar I've been in Japan. It's worth it just to meet and talk to the owner. Awesome guy.
Super friendly, great tapas.
Thank you for the service!
Higher tension than the shop in Osaka.Bordam beer is really delicious!
Great tapas and atmosphere!
Great food and service, fun to get a slice of Spain in the center of Kyoto. Only paid about 2500 a person with a bottle of wine!
The owner a crack, nice to find such a place. They have a great variety of Spanish beers that they discard in a country where it is not very brewery.
Cheerful owner and good food.
Just Perfect! Small Tapas Bar located next to the Nishiki market. There is a variety of wines and beers especially from Spain, thanks to the manager I have a new favorite beer. The food is great, the prices are good and the company is absolutely marvelous. The manager is from Barcelona and have really good vibes. If you want a place with good food, drinks and a chance to meet new people this is the right place for you.I'll be definitely comeback in my next visit.
This place is a gem. Authentic Spanish tapas and an enormous imported beer selection set this place apart. They cure their own iberico and serrano ham. The mussels are delicious. The proprietor Tato is friendly, gracious, and really funny. He speaks fluent English. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu.
Playing thunder shop
Tato is friendly, helpful, fluent in English, Spanish and Japanese and makes excellent quality traditional tapas. The wine list is small but adequate and not too pricey. Especially good were the scallops, shrimp and all the seafood.
Delicious and fun.Standing is fun and affordable.
I went there 10 months ago with my boyfriend. We were in Kyoto and wanted to eat something different for dinner. We found this place and it was a sort of heaven. Food was fantastic (we're italian, we know how Mediterranean cuisine really is)! Tapas were all so tasty that we ordered some of them twice. Drinking was very good, too. Also, the owner is a nice, joyful and kind person. He talked to us, he told us some stories about his restaurant before arriving in Kyoto and it was fun. I RECOMMEND IT! And Tato, I swear I'll return to you when I travel again to Kyoto. ❤
Nice food, funny guy. Bit overpriced.
The quality of cooking and liquor. A counter setup that is easy to induce communication. And high tension without the barrier of shop owner Tato.Everything meets that which should be prepared as a Spanish bar with a high score.First of all, there is no loss when you try to enter.
Fabulously atmospheric spot. Tato the proprietor is a mine of recommendations. We wouldn’t have thought of a day trip to Hiroshima from Kyoto if he hadn’t strongly recommended it. Food v tasty (yes it’s slow but c’mon you’re not supposed to be in a hurry in a Spanish tapas place!). Good value food. And you get to put a pin in the world map!
Paella is good, but less than I am in Spain. An additional 8% tax will be charged. If you charge your credit card, you will receive 4%.
Nice spot for a drink and iberico ham. Owner and atmosphere a bit pretentious.
This 5 stars isnt legit, the owner bribed me with delicious food and good laughs.Just go in, you wont regret it.
Great Spanish tapas, sooo fun for birthday celebrations!
Excellent, excellent tapas restaurant! Really well done and I really love the beer menu! Price is right in the money.
Atmosphere is great. Small little place with a fun and entertaining host who speaks English, Spanish and Japanese. Service was extremely slow. Had to remind host to bring certain items. Portions were super small for the price. Quality of the food isn't bad, but isn't worth the cost of the food.
Mr. Tato is fine and fun, and sake is also a reasonable but delicious shop such as pinchos.Next, it's a shop you'll want to visit again ♪
Amazing place, staff friendly and nice.
Probably the best shop in many ways, owned by the highest tension Spanish (Kana Catalan) in Kyoto. The menu descriptions are also interesting, and I'm worried about which one to use.If you have a depressed friend, please take them with you.I will be fine
Master? It is a very interesting character.
Tato's character was the best⤴
A genuine, "simple" place with marvelous atmosphere, great tapas and a big selection of beer! It was our last evening in Kyoto and we couldn't have spent better than this! Enjoy!
We found this place by mistake and it was one of the best things that happened to us on Kyoto. After so many sushi and ramen places we really wanted to taste something different, a bit more western but still with good taste and atmosphere. Beside the food that was excellent (great tapas dishes, not too small not too big) Jorge (Tato) is one of a kind. Speak English, Spanish and Japanese (so almost everyone will understand him) he made us fill like this is our home restaurant, we actually felt like this could be our neighborhood tapas bar in our home town. I recommend to anyone who wants to taste great food, drink good alcohol and enjoy a great evening with friends. Salute!!!
